Cheats:
First copy two files from the /PROGRAM directory into the game
directory accrodingly (i.e. /PROGRAM/seadogs.c into GAMEDIR/PROGRAM
and /PROGRAM/CONTROLS/init_pc.c into GAMEDIR/PROGRAM/CONTROLS).
Then just start the game and use the following keys:

How to get an "easy" money:

in the early time you start the game, it is a little hard to earn much
money. but there's a way you can get much money without trading. Go to
tavern, search for person who offering them selves to become your officer.
Keep bargaining the prices with him,even he refuse to decrease the demands.
that way, you can force him to decrease the demands into minus (it means he
even gives you maney). i can get 50000 gold this way.he.he.he.
How to avoid enemy:

from the start, pirate always been a big trouble for you. you can avoid them
by switching from world map to battle map before they came near you and back
again to world map.then.taaadaaaa.
they disapear!!repeat it every time you encounter pirates or your foes.and
you can get a save journey.

Avoid battles and storms:
Immediately press  when the screen with a battle or storm appears.
Press to return to the sea.
Ding Dong Ditch:
Go to a door in any part of the game and press [Action]. Your character
will knock on the door, then you can run away.
Easy money:
Go to any of the loan sharks and ask for any amount of money. You can go to
the box in his office and drop your money in it. Then, go up to him again
and ask for more money. Continue to do this until you have the desired amount.
Even though he says that he has ways of getting his money back, he never comes
after you.
Stack captain scores:
You can add more than one person, other than the Captain, onto your other
three ships. All of their scores will stack with that ship's captain's score.
There are two different ways to do this. The first method is at the "Open Sea"
screen (where you can see all of your ships), get close to another one of your
ships and a swap cargo icon will appear. Go into the swap cargo menu. There
is an option to switch captains. Under this option, there is a screen that
has four slots. One of them is the captain of that ship. Click on one of the
other three slots, then assign passengers to each one. When you do this,
they dissapear from your passenger list. You will need to get more party
members at the tavern if you want to fill up all your ships. Do not sell
the ship with the other three crewmembers still on it. You will lose anyone
that is still on board. The second method is to capture a ship and do it
when you assign a captain to the captured ship.
Faster sailing:
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of
the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "interface.c"
file in the "/pirates of the caribbean/program/interface/" folder. Find
the entry "if(bArcadeMode) return 2.0;" and change that value to a higher
number. Press [Keypad Asterisk] during game play to sail at higher speed.
Immortality:
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of
the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "characters_init.c"
file in the "/pirates of the caribbean/program/characters/" folder.
Locate the following line:
makeref(ch,Characters[0]); //Blaze Devlin
Underneath that line, enter:
LAi_SetImmortal(ch, true);
Note: To disable immortality, put "//" in front of the line.

You can determine starting characteristics and money by editing the
"character_init" files in Notepad! You will find the name and all
stats there and can change them to your desire.
You can even change your name, which will then appear when you talk
to others in the game. Make sure you search for all the "character_init"
files and change them all the same (I think there are 3).
If you then start a new game you will have the stats you entered!

To gain more money "AS YOUR WISH" before starting the game go to
folder 'program' in the installed files,there go to folder 'store',
there will be a file about prices of goods in store.just you can
increase the price of goods you have to sell and decrease the price
of goods u wanna buy..thats all.. u can be a millonare.

then open charater_init. you can change your rank, your exp points and how much money
you want.
Get New Ships:
Before editing a game file always make a backup copy of that file. Go to the directory
of the following file: "character_init" (Mostly it is in the following path:
C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Pirates of the Caribbean\PROGRAM\Characters\English).
It must be the one in "English" not in "Characters". Open the file, and go to the
following line: "ch.Ship.Type = SHIP_LUGGER_ENGLAND;".
Replace "LUGGER_ENGLAND"ch.Ship.Type = SHIP_LUGGER_ENGLAND with the following to get
new ships.

Run Away:
If you run into a group of baddies you think you cannot beat then run away and go past
the last point where the game loads and they won't follow you.
View programmers:
Enter the maze in the last level. Look for markings on the floor while in the maze. You
can follow them to reach rooms at the edge of the maze with wall tiles that are missing.
However, follow the floor markings that have an eight legged eye and an arrow to find a
tile room that has another arrow on the floor pointing at a wall. Walk directly into that
wall to pass through it and enter a hidden room with pictures of the programmers.
Falchion sword:
In Oxbay Caves, wander around and you will eventually find a sword stuck in a beam. It is
the Falchion, the most damaging sword in the game and is available from the start.
Change ship stats:
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before
proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "ships_init.c" file in the "/pirates of the
caribbean/program/ships/" folder. Locate the the ship that you desire to change. You can
change the stats to whatever desired. You can change the ships movement speed and turning
speed; maximum crew; cannon size; canon quantity; and many more settings.
Ships cost $100:
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before
proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "Ships_init.c" file in the "/pirates of the
caribbean/program/ships/" folder. Locate the following line under each individual ship type:
refShip.Price = 19000;
Change the "19000" to "100" and your ship will now cost $100. This can be changed on any
ship of your choice.
